What’s happening this month in terms of events? Well, there’s rowing at Henley and on 28th it’s ladies’ day at the Galway races. It’s not surprising that many people want to just stay at home and enjoy their gardens –  the light evenings make this time of year perfect for barbeques.

A good way of pairing food and wine is to marry local wines with local dishes. The best country for a barbecue is probably Argentina – so it’s not surprising that Argentinian wines go perfectly with smokey, charred meat. Go to this post for one which is recommended and more on Argentinian wine.
